Registrations for the next school year for already registered students will begin on April 1, 2026. Registrations for new students will begin on May 4, 2026. Strict order of priority will be observed.

The department for the HSK Course in Greek Language and Culture (T.E.G.), Zurich in Apfelbaum (one of the 4 recognized schools in Zurich) operates with the endorsement of the Greek Embassy in Bern via the Coordinating Office of Education in Brussels and has the official recognition of both the Greek Ministry of Education and the Canton of Zurich, under the educational programs of Native Language and Culture (HSK) from the Department of Public Education of Zurich.
Greek Language Proficiency (Ellinomatheia)
The main goal of the Greek HSK Courses is the teaching of the Greek language and the Greek culture to young Greeks.
And the criterion for achieving this goal is the participation of students of the Greek HSK Courses is the Greek language proficiency exams (Ellinomatheia).
The association, which has represented the identity and networking of HSK teachers in the canton of Zurich since 2003, aims to optimize their working conditions as well as the quality of the HSK courses offered. Since April 2025, Mr. Theodoros Kitsios has taken on the role of Community Manager for HSK teachers in the canton of Zurich.

Visit of the author Mr Papatheodoulou
On the occasion of World Children's Book Day, we are honored and delighted to welcome the popular children's book author Mr. Papatheodoulou and the illustrator of his books, Mrs. Samartzis, to our school. The visit will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, during regular school hours.
Departments for the HSK Course in Greek Language and Culture (T.E.G.) in Zurich Canton
The following Greek Language and Culture Departments are recognized by the Greek Ministry of Education as well as by the Department of Education of the Canton of Zurich. The official educational program is followed by certified teachers. Therefore, the grade and evaluation of the children from the Greek school are also recorded in the Swiss system.
