Registrations

Registrations of students are reviewed based on the availability of spaces in the individual classes and in consultation with the teaching staff, as the number of rooms in the school building that hosts us is limited.

Applications for the coming school year are usually submitted in April/May of the previous year, with a strict order of receipt being followed.

 A corresponding announcement with the exact start date of the registration period will be published on our website.

1. Registration applies to the entire school year and is completed with the payment of a deposit, which is non-refundable. Greek must be the first or main language in the family, and the child must have reached the required age according to the age requirements of the Canton of Zurich.

2. The official registration deadline is September 30 of each school year. Registrations after this date are only possible in consultation with the responsible teachers and for a valid reason (e.g., a new family moving from Greece to Zurich).

3. Applications submitted after January 1 of a school year require only the payment of the first installment of membership fees (deposit).

4. With registration, parents automatically become members of the parents' association and pay a contribution per child. The amount of the annual membership fee is determined at the general assembly of the parents' association, which takes place in October each school year.

5. The second installment of the contribution is mandatory for each child who is still officially enrolled after the autumn break. Students who leave before the autumn break are not required to pay the second installment, provided there is written notification to the responsible teacher and the parents' association before the withdrawal date.

6. No refund is issued in the case of the child's absence or canceled lessons.

7. For families with three children enrolled at the same time, there is a 50% discount for the third child. Families with a KulturLegi card also receive a 50% discount.

8. The school program and holidays are set by the Canton of Zurich and approved by the Greek Ministry of Education. Possible changes are made in consultation with the relevant authorities.

9. In the case of inappropriate behavior, a pedagogical resolution is carried out in collaboration with the teaching personnel. In the event of exclusion, no refund of the contribution is provided.

10. Insurance for the students (e.g., liability or accident insurance) during the way to school and while at school is the responsibility of the parents.
