Organisation & Teaching Personnel
Introduction
The department for the HSK Course in Greek Language and Culture (T.E.G.), Zurich in Apfelbaum is staffed by teachers sent by the Greek Ministry of Education (kindergarten teachers, primary school teachers, and secondary school teachers). Additional needs are met by part-time teachers employed by the parents' association.
In the department for the HSK Course in Greek Language and Culture (T.E.G.), Zurich in Apfelbaum, there are classes for preschool children, all primary school grades, as well as a mixed secondary school class. The teaching staff is responsible for the organization and conduct of the lessons.
The parents' association supports the work of the teachers in organizational and practical matters, but does not intervene in pedagogical or didactic issues.
Official communication with the Canton of Zurich takes place through the HSK Coordinator, who is responsible for all Greek departments in the region.

The teaching personnel consists of teachers who are seconded and those employed on an hourly basis. The head teacher for the Greek Language and Culture Department (T.E.G.), Zurich in Apfelbaum is Mr. Georgios Zagklas. The HSK Coordinator is Mr. Theodoros Kitsios.

The children are gently introduced to the Greek-speaking educational community through creative play and activities, with the aim of fostering their independence and language expression skills.
